Her Locket

Directed by J.E. Tiglao
Jewel Ouyang has lost everything – her youth and beauty, her popularity, and her fortunes. She has also forgotten everything! She now lives with dementia, her loving lawyer son, Kyle, and a young caregiver, Teresa, who seems more ambitious than caring. One day, Jewel finds an old locket that contains an old photo of herself with her parents, and her older brother, Magnus. The locket removes the cloud of forgetfulness and frees her memories – memories of her rivalry with her brother, of a tenuous relationship with her family and their opposition to her choices of a career and whom to love; of a happy marriage to Dave Nicolas cut short by his untimely death; of achieving success as an actress enabling her to raise their son single-handedly; and, finally the discovery that Magnus has tampered with her father’s will and robbed her of her inheritance. These memories resurrect the pain of betrayal and release her anger. Determined to seek vengeance, Jewel faces Magnus in court to claim what is rightfully hers. But, as Magnus persists in playing dirty by using the dementia card, happier moments with her brother resurface.

Will Jewel then choose to forgive… and forget?
