King Louie Palomo is a Queer, Filipino-Canadian, producer-director committed to uncompromising visions that challenge conventional paradigms. He works to encourage dialogue and foster community through films. Over the years, King produced short films that have been screened at international festivals like Hollyshorts, Palm Springs Short Fest, Warsaw and Edmonton International Film Festivals.As a writer-director, King’s credits include NENE (Standout Director at the 21st Reelworld Film Festival) and STAY (Runner-up for the Jury Award for Best Narrative Short at Out on Film: Atlanta’s LGBTQ Film Fest, Academy Award® Qualifying). He was also recently selected for the 2024 CFC Norman Jewison Film Program: Director’s Lab. |
