Stand Up Speak Up

Directed by Paziano Parel-Sewell
Comedians are reclaiming an art form once rooted in bigotry, and some are rewriting the script to advocate for social justice. One 16 year old takes on the challenge of writing a comedy set to see how he can promote social justice.

Paz started making LEGO stop motion films when he was 9 years old, when he would drink apple juice. He has since graduated to making actual films, but still likes drinking apple juice. When not behind the camera, he likes acting in front of the camera, and onstage. He is also working to become a standup comedian and has preformed in Santa Monica at the Crow Comedy Club. He is currently attending Steele Canyon High School, and in college wants to study film and acting.
