![]() Born and raised in the picturesque towns of Iloilo and Pampanga, tin draws her film collaborations from the rich cultural heritage and natural beauty that surrounds her. tin’s commitment to diversity and inclusion in the industry is reflected in her collaboration in the production of Internationally acclaimed films like Leonor Will Never Die, Excuse me miss, miss, miss (Sundance), Primetime Mother (TIFF), and John Denver Trending (BIFF), ensuring that Filipino stories are told from a multitude of voices. Her determination to showcase the Philippines’ unique stories and talents on a global stage has been the driving force behind her burgeoning career. The influence of her beginnings as a regional filmmaker is apparent in the short films she helmed for the local festival, Cinekabalen. During the initial phase of her filmmaking career, she directed “Ing Pusta” and “Jona,” both of which were chosen for Cinekabalen in 2014 and 2015, respectively. Her recent short film, “Bye bye Bituin,” was featured at the 2017 QC Pink Film Festival. In 2020, she endeavored to return to her roots by directing another short film, a project that took three years to complete due to the challenges posed by the pandemic. |
