After losing her eldest daughter, Maria Cordero struggles between her guilt and faith as she attends Mass a year later with her younger daughter, Analyn.

 

 

 

 


Jessica Schlimmer is a film director, writer, and editor based in Northern New Jersey. She has directed, edited, and produced over five short films and writes all her stories herself. She enjoys academic writing, analyzing the media, and consuming pop culture, albeit being a self-proclaimed “hipster.”

When she’s not thinking about filmmaking and writing, she spends her free time reading and caring for her pug puppy, Bella.
