Mika packs up their late father’s apartment when they are interrupted by a stranger at the door. Over the course of a conversation separated by the building’s intercom, we learn of the connection they have with the owner of the apartment, Mika’s estranged father.

 

 

 


Bianca Catbagan is a Filipino director & photographer based in Los Angeles. She was a Cinematography Fellow at Busan International Film Festival’s Asian Film Academy and a participant at the Reykjavik International Film Festival’s Talent Lab where her film Paraluman was nominated for a Golden Egg. Her films have screened at numerous international festivals including Outfest Fusion, Vancouver Queer Film Festival, Fringe! Queer Film & Arts Fest, Newport Beach Film Festival, among others. As a photographer, Bianca’s films are visually driven and place emphasis on the faces and stories of misfits. Her love for the image has brought her behind the scenes of films, fashion shows, and music festivals, working at different events like New York Fashion Week, Philippine Fashion Week, The Governors Ball Music Festival, and Life is Beautiful Music Festival. She shoots on both film and digital but prefers her Canon AE-1.
