Happy Life, Pilipinas!

A man struggles with his online job during the height of the pandemic. To drown out his worries from work, he takes a break and listens to the radio.

Growing up in the Philippines, Alonzo took an interest in filmmaking at a young age where he would recreate movie scenes with his siblings. In his spare time, he writes his ideas and stories and submits them to film festivals to hone his skills.

Alonzo’s short film “Happy Life, Pilipinas!” earned him a spot as one of the finalists at the QCinema International Film Festival Short Shorts Competition 2020.
