Danny accompanies his Filipino husband, Luke, to his green card interview. He has taken every precaution to ensure their interview goes smoothly, because he knows that failure could mean Luke gets deported back to a country where their marriage isn’t valid. The pressure gets to him, and he explodes at the most inopportune time, leaving Luke to begrudgingly pick up the pieces.
Filipino-American director Gino Jose has been directing music videos and other online content since 2008. His first short film, Basaan, about a gay man who learns self-acceptance during a Filipino fiesta, has been screened in festivals all over the world, including Outfest, Festival Angaelica, and Courts des Iles.
