At Least We Had This Moment

Directed by Joshua de Vera
In his quest to capture the aged architecture of Manila, film photographer Dino seeks the company of a local stranger, Vince. But as the city noises grew, their stories stood out.

Joshua de Vera is an independent film practitioner who explores themes of heritage and third spaces, as shown in his short film, ‘At Least We Had This Moment,’ which premiered at the Queer East Festival in London and the 36th Hong Kong Lesbian and Gay Film Festival. He was also a finalist at the Sine Kabataan Film Festival 2025 by the FDCP with his surrealist coming-of-age short, ‘Elephant Paths.’ De Vera further honed his storytelling acumen as a fellow of the Climate Story Lab by Active Vista and the British Council.
