Gold Fish

Directed by Jamie Davis
On a remote island in the Philippines, 2 children search the island in hopes to find Gold which they will use to visit their mothers who work abroad.
The story begins with Thea, a know it all 9 year old, fishing with her 7 year old, younger brother (who is an old man in a young boys body).

Whilst discussing the future and how much to save to visit their mother who works abroad, they meet Angelo, the strange kid from the other side of the village, who is digging holes trying to find gold in their area.

After Thea tries to get him to move along, Angelo stands his ground and decides to dig even more. Thea realises a potential here and if they find gold together it means she can make more money. They strike a deal that if they find gold they will split it 50/50.

They travel across the island digging holes, and in the process, they discover something more important than money.
