PANORAMA
Directed by Aaron Zonio- Shorts
- Philippines
- 25 mins
Lolo Magno, once a celebrated analog photographer, now runs a struggling film processing lab in the midst of the digital era. As he develops film rolls for customers like Roy, a young man dealing with a lingering heartbreak, and Anna, a curious and aspiring
analog photographer, Magno finds unexpected moments of connection and quiet introspection.
Despite facing financial difficulties and a growing sense of obsolescence, he rediscovers meaning in preserving the past through his craft even in a world that seems to be moving on without him. As his lab evolves into a camera repair shop, PANORAMA becomes an intimate reflection on passion, resilience, and the enduring power of capturing moments. |
Mark Aaron P. Zonio is a Filipino filmmaker known for his visually intimate style and character-driven storytelling. A graduate of De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde, he has worked on short films that often explore themes of identity, isolation, and introspection.
